Laptops to hire

VANEL holds a certain amount of IT equipment that is available to hire by any organisation.

Preferential rates are offered to the VolCom sector.

We hold a number of laptops, data projectors and a few other items.

There are also items held within the borough and hosted by other Community organisations via the Common Treasury programme.

Laptop hire

Laptops can be hired for FREE for occasional use by Voluntary and Community organisations who are members of VANEL.  Occasional use means 1 or 2 laptops for a single event/day.  Perhaps you have an event that needs a laptop for a presentation, or perhaps a piece of work needs to be completed which needs a laptop.

For longer periods – hiring for several days or weeks – a charge will be levied: first day free, £5 for second day & each day thereafter, £15 for a week, £45 per month.  All bookings are subject to availability.

Organisations who are not members of VANEL or private sector organisations can also hire equipment at the rate of £10 per day.  Rates can be agreed for longer term rentals.

We retain the right to charge additional fees for late return, for damage etc, and full details can be obtained upon request.
