Join Up
Membership of the IT Supporters Network is by individuals rather than as an organisation and is FREE.
To become a member you should be in some way related to a voluntary or community organisation, social enterprise or charity – you may be a staff member, trustee or volunteer.
You should also be in some way responsible for IT or technology for that organisation. You may look after the hardware or printers, install software or troubleshoot, you may support or develop your website or online social media presence, you may be in charge of IT spend or strategy or maybe you do it all as an ‘accidental techie’.
To Join
Just get in touch with VANEL and let us have your contact details. We’ll add you to our system.
From then on we’ll be able to keep in touch with you easier to let you know about Network events and training and initiatives etc.
We do all our communication via email or online to save time and resources. If you’re involved with IT in your organisation and don’t have an email address then things are worse than we thought!
There’s no particular committment required from yourself as a member and you can contact us at any time to stop being involved.
What else?
As a member you’ll receive our newsletter regularly, and will be invited/encouraged to attend our quarterly Networking meetings. You’ll also get first refusal on training courses and sessions such as our Technical Surgeries. Keep an eye on our full events diary.
Some of our members like to communicate with each other, networking, interacting and collaborating – it’s a great way to learn together and help each other solve problems. As well as our fully open Facebook page for the Network, we also now have a closed Facebook Group for members only. Only members get an invitation and can use it. As soon as you join up we’ll invite you to the group if you want to be involved.
