Grants are only one part of a sustainable funding mix, but are often difficult to find. The Third Sector Hub provides the free GrantNet service for all TSOs, as well as a growing list of local grant opportunities.

We support groups undertaking capital projects (involving assets)

Buildings (or land) are often the focus for communities and TSOs. The Third Sector Hub aims to support those groups dealing with physical projects involving buildings or land through information & signposting, facilitating meetings or training. The Hub & VANEL are also helping to push locally the process of transfer of assets into community ownership.

We encourage groups to use IT more effectively

Groups not using email, without websites or not using IT effectively are putting themselves at a disadvantage. Increasingly funding applications & procurement systems are only online. A valuable channel of communication is lost. The Third Sector Hub will be working to encourage more effective useage of IT & online services over the coming months, with briefings, training and information sharing.
