Today your ‘message’ can easily get lost in the media ‘noise’. Communicating clearly – the right message to the right people – takes effort. The Third Sector Hub will be making the effort to help local TSOs improve communication skills and then get their messages across.

We encourage Sustainable Finance

Grants are only one part of a sustainable funding mix, but are often difficult to find. The Third Sector Hub provides the free GrantNet service for all TSOs, as well as a growing list of local grant opportunities.

We support groups undertaking capital projects (involving assets)

Buildings (or land) are often the focus for communities and TSOs. The Third Sector Hub aims to support those groups dealing with physical projects involving buildings or land through information & signposting, facilitating meetings or training. The Hub & VANEL are also helping to push locally the process of transfer of assets into community ownership.

We encourage groups to use IT more effectively

Groups not using email, without websites or not using IT effectively are putting themselves at a disadvantage. Increasingly funding applications & procurement systems are only online.
